I first met Kaggle during the data science Bowl contest on Cohen`s Kappa – even though I didn`t actively participate and the metric was the squared-weighted Kappa, I stuffed a core to play with the metric and see how it works, because I`d never seen it before. The launch of the University of Liverpool – Ion Switching competition gave me another opportunity to better understand the metric, although this time I will be actively participating, since I told myself that I would do more this year. Now that I have realized publicly, let`s ventilate Cohen`s cape. Unfortunately, marginal amounts may or may not estimate the amount of the random evaluation agreement in uncertainty. It is therefore doubtful whether the reduction in the approval estimate made by the kappa statistics is actually representative of the amount of the random evaluation agreement. . . .
